The Woodward Experience

Nose butters. Pretzel grinds. Rodeo fives. And Alley Oops. Quick! Did we borrow Dr. Seuss’s personal dictionary or are these actual freeskiing and snowboarding tricks? You guessed the second option: Ding. Ding. Ding. You’re correct. You know what’s better than knowing the names of the tricks? Learning them.

Woodward has been the leader in action sports camps since its beginnings as a gymnastics camp in 1969. Since then, it’s grown to offer camps in many sports, including cheer, skateboarding, BMX, inline skating, scooter, parkour, digital media, snowboarding, and freeskiing. Woodward facilities are spread all over the world, with four in the United States, another one in China, and now they’re hitting the road with Sunday River plugged into the GPS.

The Woodward Mini Camp Tour will take over three ski resorts this March, with Sunday River kicking it off March 22-23. Campers ages 7-19 will be able to learn new skills in snowboarding, freeskiing, and digital media. All skill levels are welcome, whether you’re a beginner looking to hit your first jump or an expert looking to stomp bigger tricks. A schedule of the typical day is provided. Also included are lift tickets, professional coaching, lunch vouchers, GoPro rentals, giveaways, summer camp discounts, and a special visit from Sunday River’s own, professional freeskier Simon Dumont. The list goes on and on, and registration is now live. Unlock your potential with Woodward while finding your Happy Place, all here at Sunday River.
